Dear Baby Miss and Mister Candidates and Parent(s):

The Miss Aberdeen Committee is looking for Baby Miss/Mister Aberdeen Candidates to represent the Aberdeen Community in 2026-2027!

The Baby Miss and Mister Aberdeen winner will be part of the 2027 Royal Family with the Sr. and Jr. Miss Aberdeen as well as Little Miss and Mister. She/he will participate in various activities through the year in the Aberdeen Community.

The Miss Aberdeen Contest will be held on Saturday, November 14th, 2026 at 6:00pm at the Aberdeen Civic Theater (225 2nd Ave SE, Aberdeen, SD 57401).

There will be a very short practice earlier in the day for the Baby Miss and Mister Candidates. The agenda for contest day will be emailed to the parents email address soon after November 1st, 2026.

Contest Rules and Regulations:

1. Age: Candidate must be between the ages of 6 months and 3 years (up to 47 months) by November 14th, 2026.

2. Residency: Candidate must be a citizen of the United States and a resident of Aberdeen or surrounding areas (Please verify with Summer which surrounding area you are from before submission of the application).

3. Availability: Candidates must be able to participate in approved appearances by the Miss Aberdeen Committee, which includes Gypsy Days Parade and other activities throughout the year.

As you are aware, there are potential dangers associated with the posting of personally identifiable information on a website or social media website since global access to the Internet does not allow us to control who may access such information. These dangers have always existed; however, we as a Festival do want to celebrate you and your accomplishment. The law requires that we ask for your permission to use information about yourself.

This contract extends through the end of the reign of the winner/person chosen to be our next Baby Miss/Mister Aberdeen, and allows us to use their photos and information for years to come as advertisement.
