    You are invited to register for this year's Regional Council of Schools!

    This is the form for:

    • Galway Roscommon Regional Council
    • 10:00AM - 3:00PM 
    • ATU Galway (Formerly GMIT, Please note this is not NUIG/UG) 
    • Thursday 23rd October 2025
    • Up to 4 Students may register for the event (2 Voter, 2 Observer) 

    The Regional Council of schools will bring together students from all over Ireland to discuss both regional and national education issues. Workshops, discussions and elections will take place during the day, electing students as the next Regional Officers. There will be an opportunity for students for students to submit issues important to them for their Regional Officers to work on. There is also a workshop outlining civic engagement.  

    Students should register individually. Teachers do not need to register. Please note this is not limited to Student Council Members.

    FINAL REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THE EVENT, PLACES MAY BE LIMITED SO APPLY ASAP.

    • We will be unable to change voter status on the day unless there is faults. Please ensure you do not register more than 2 voters, otherwise voting will be determined on first-registered basis. 
    • Please ensure your email is correct. We will be emailing you a confirmation and further communications about the event. 

    Please note that unfortunately we cannot accommodate for any more numbers than the above. Therefore any extra students cannot be admitted to the event, unless there is a prior agreement with the Student Council Liaison Teacher, which can be arranged by emailing Luke@issu.ie

    Please complete this page if under 18 years of age on the day of the event. If you are aged over 18, please type "18". Please note that ISSU can only deal with 'custodial guardians'.
