  • The Christmas Market at Stable 41 is a big part of Christmas in Fort Oglethorpe. 

    It is a marketplace open to local farmers and small businesses to connect with the community and provide quality products to customers. 

    Please read and accept before applying.

  • SET-UP

    • Saturday, November 29, 2025 from 3p to 5p.
    • All vendors must be set up and in place by 5p.
    • Vendor spaces will be assigned and numbered. 
    • No vehicles are allowed in the vending area at any time.


    VENDING

    • Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 6 to 9p.
    • Stable 41 Pavilion, 214 First Street, Fort Oglethorpe.
    • Vendors must be open the entire time.
    • Vending will be a 10' x 10' assigned space.
    • Vendors are not allowed to solicit outside their booth space or sell from any location other than their assigned area.
    • No vendor shall approach shoppers outside of their assigned space and ask for or try to obtain anything from shoppers.
    • Vendors who break this rule will be asked to leave the event immediately.

     TEAR DOWN

    • No vehicles are allowed in the vending area at any time.
    • All vendors must be gone by 10p on September 7, 2026.

     FEES

    • A Vendor Fee of $15.00 is non-refundable and is due upon acceptance.
    • A Food Vendor Fee of $40 is non-refundable and is due upon acceptance.
  • Winter Market Vendor Policy

    • This event will be held rain or shine, except in the event of severe weather or safety concerns, in which case it will be canceled. In the event of extreme weather, the event director will notify the vendors and the public of the cancellation. 
    • The event director will assign vendor space assignments. The director will create a vendor assignment layout and send it to all vendors via email the week before the event.
    • Vendors must leave their booth space clean and free of trash. A fine of $100.00 will be issued to any vendor who does not clean up their space after the event.
    • Vendors shall not sell before the event's opening hours; however, they are allowed to take pre-orders from customers for pickup at the event.
    • Vendors are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all licenses and certifications related to their products.
    • Vendors are advised to keep copies of their licenses and certifications on display at their booth.
    • Vendors are responsible for setting their prices and labeling their products accurately.
    • Vendor displays are the vendor's responsibility. Display items may include, but are not limited to, tables, signs, racks, tents, and shelves.
    • Each vendor must comply with all applicable state and federal regulations governing the production, harvesting, preparation, preservation, labeling, and safety of products offered for sale.
    • Vendors are liable for their products. 
    • Vendors will refrain from argumentative behavior with other vendors and directors during event hours. After event hours, vendors and the director may engage in conflict resolution, and vendors may submit written complaints to the event director.
    • Vendors cannot be affiliated with, give out information on, display signs or signage, or campaign in any way for or against any political figure, political candidate, or political issue. This includes but is not limited to wearing political clothing or accessories, handing out brochures or informational pamphlets, playing political videos or recordings, and displaying any political signs, flags, or banners. Vendors who violate this will be asked to leave the event immediately.
    • Priority is given to vendors who manufacture their inventory and reside within a 75-mile radius of Fort Oglethorpe.
    • A designated adult must always supervise small children brought to the market by vendors.
    • Vendors are not permitted to set up any signs or promotional swag anywhere other than their assigned space.
    • Vendors are not allowed to pack up and leave before the event closes unless they have cleared it with the director in advance.
    • If an emergency occurs, locate the director and explain the situation.
      Any accident or injury must be immediately reported to 911 and the event director. 
    • The event director will enforce all vendor rules and regulations of the event, as well as be present during operating hours.
    • The director will oversee the setup and breakdown of the event's welcome booth and direct vendors to their assigned spaces.
    • The director will also keep records of vendor attendance. Vendors who commit to the event but fail to attend will not be permitted to participate in the following year.
    • The City of Fort Oglethorpe and its representatives are not liable for any damage or loss of personal belongings.
    • Vendors are responsible for holding their liability insurance.
    • Anyone who participates in the event, whether as a vendor, customer, or otherwise, does so at their own risk.
    • Vendors will operate at their own risk and assume liability from the customers.
  • By signing this application, I acknowledge that I have read and understood the rules and regulations as outlined above and agree to comply with them. I understand that my booth fees are non-refundable. I acknowledge full responsibility for my actions and activities while attending this event (and for those assisting me). I recognize the authority of the event director to settle any disputes regarding product legitimacy, procedural violations, or vendor conduct. I also understand that the event director can impose any penalties, including possible suspension or removal from the event
