  • Read for the Record: Celebrity Readers

Please use this form to register as a Celebrity Reader for Jumpstart’s Read for the Record, hosted by the City of Bloomington Commission on the Status of Children and Youth. Read for the Record, taking place this year on October 14, is "the world’s largest shared reading experience that celebrates children’s early language and social-emotional development. The event--a day of celebration and fun-- builds an intergenerational community through reading and raises awareness around the critical importance of early literacy and access to inclusive, high-quality books." This year, volunteers will read "See Marcus Grow" by Marcus Bridgewater to elementary school classrooms at participating schools. Fill out the form below to become a Celebrity Reader. Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
