2026 NATIONAL ACTEENS PANEL APPLICATION
We are so glad you chose to apply to be on the National Acteens Panel! As you fill out this application, you will see at the end of each page an option to save or go to the next page. If you need to save and return to work on the application later, you can select save and a link will be emailed to the address you enter on page 2 allowing you to return at a later time.
QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Qualifications:

To qualify for the National Acteens Panel, applicant must:
- be a current junior or senior in high school
- be a Christian
- be a member of a church
- be a member of an Acteens organization
- regularly participate in missions projects and activities
- have guardian's permission to serve as a panelist
- fulfill all panelist responsibilities
Responsibilities:

National Acteens Panelists must:
- be able to attend and provide her own transportation to and from a national WMU event in 2026 (event and date TBD).
- agree to serve from January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026. Girls graduating from high school during 2026 are eligible to serve.
- agree to create content for our social media.
Grant Award

The WMU Foundation provides a grant award to those who are chosen for the National Acteens Panel that may be used to offset travel related expenses.
Deadline for application materials and reference forms to be submitted is November 15, 2025.
Applications are not considered complete without all of the information requested.

1. Applicant Information: Remember, the Parent/Guardian signature is required for your application to be considered complete.

2. References: To complete the application process, you need at least three references. The three required references are your pastor, your Acteens leader, and your state WMU student consultant. If any of these are family members, please provide an alternate reference like a church leader who knows you well (youth minister, Sunday School teacher, etc.) When you submit this application you will receive a link for the reference form. It is your responsibility to provide this link to each of your references and ensure they submit the recommendation by the November 15, 2025 application deadline. Their responses and comments will be helpful to the selection committee in evaluating your application. The references themselves are responsible for submitting their recommendations to national WMU.

3. Questions and Essays: The Questions and Essays will tell the National Acteens Panel selection committee about you, your time in Acteens, your involvement in missions, and other information.

4. Applicant Photo: Submit a recent, high-quality, color photo of yourself. Should you be selected as a National Acteens Panelist, this photo will be used on the WMU website and social media, and in press releases to Baptist Press and state Baptist newspapers. You will want to look nice in this photo (no candid shots or sports portraits). Photo MUST be high resolution (select the highest resolution setting on your phone/camera). For a digital photo to be high res, it needs to be at least 1mb. AND when you attach the photo to an email, select largest file size if given the option.

5. Submit all of your application material on or before November 15, 2025!

1. Submit your completed application (this document) and your photo using this link in JotForm (where you are now). You should receive an automatic response that your application was submitted.

2. We will email you and let you know when we receive your references. If you are missing something, we will let you know what you need to submit.

3. If you do not receive an automatic response when you submit, please email: awilson@wmu.org. If you are concerned your references have not been submitted, check with them and then email awilson@wmu.org to inquire.
