    Thank you for applying to be a Volunteer for the King William Fair. The King William Fair is a major Fiesta® San Antonio event that draws approximately 35,000 attendees. The Fair includes 200+ Art & Craft exhibitors, 60+ Food Vendors, Beverage Stations, a 1.5-mile Parade route, 5 stages of entertainment and a Kid's Kingdom area. Proceeds from the Fair support the arts, education, community activities and preservation efforts in the King William Historic District. Please review the waiver/guidelines below and sign below.   • Volunteer Guidelines

    The King William Fair is on Saturday, April 25, 2026. All Volunteers are to check in at the Volunteer Check-In Booth off Turner Street across from the KWA office (122 Madison Street San Antonio, TX. 78204). Your volunteer time and station will be sent to you via email before the day of the Fair. Please arrive 15 minutes before your start time to allow time to check in and to arrive at your station.

    - No smoking on the Fair grounds. NO EXCEPTIONS.
    - Volunteer Oasis will be set up in the parking lot at the KWA Office (122 Madison St 78204). Please feel free to stop before or after your shift to rest or pick up some free snacks and drinks. After your shift concludes, check out here and receive your complimentary volunteer t-shirt.
    - Streets in the Fair Zone will be one-way with limited points of entry and exit (map will be provided). Only vehicles with this pass displayed on the dashboard will be permitted past the barricades.
    - Staff and Department Managers are in touch by two-way radios and are in the Fair Zone all day.
    - If a Volunteer should witness an accident or theft please give information to security officers or call the King William Office at 210-271-3247.
    Hours of Operation:

    6:00 a.m. Fair Zone opens to vendors with passes.

    7:00 a.m. Health inspector & fire marshal arrive.

    7:00 a.m. Cars must be removed! Admissions go on sale.

    7:30 a.m. Towing begins.

    8:00 a.m. Tickets go on sale & vendors may start selling food.

    9:00 a.m. The Parade begins and the Fair officially opens.

    6:00 p.m. Fair officially ends.

    Admissions Policy:

    $20/adult; free to children 12 & under. Everyone must wear a wristband to get in.

    No coolers from the public; vendors will have approved florescent yellow cooler stickers on their coolers.

    No signs or handouts (for politics, business, etc.).

    NO TENTS OR CANOPIES ALLOWED IN KING WILLIAM PARK.

  • Volunteer Waiver

    King William Fair

    Saturday, April 25, 2026

    9:00 am – 6:00 pm

    In consideration for being permitted to participate in the King William Fair, I hereby waive, release, and discharge any and all claims for damages for personal injury, death, or property damage which I may have, or which may hereafter accrue to me, as a result of participation in said activity.

     

    This release is intended to discharge in advance the King William Association and the Fiesta Commission (their officers, employees, and agents) from any and all liability arising out of or connected in any way with my participation in the King William Fair, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities mentioned above.

     

    It is understood that this activity involves an element of risk and danger of accidents and knowing those risks I hereby assume those risks. It is further agreed that this waiver, release and assumption or risk is to be binding on my heirs and assigns. I agree to indemnify and to hold the above persons or entities free and harmless from any loss, liability, damage, cost, or expense which they may incur as the result of my death or any injury or property damage that I may sustain while participating in said activity.

     

    I understand this is an outdoor show and the King William Fair will not accept any responsibility for goods damaged due to inclement weather. I grant the King William Association full permission to use any photographs that may contain my likeness or booth space.
