2026 NAAF CONFERENCE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

IMPORTANT: The National Alopecia Areata Foundation (NAAF) Conference Financial Assistance Program only provides financial aid to help with registration fees and/or lodging. Financial aid is not available for other travel expenses (e.g. airfare, train tickets, hotel incidentals, etc.) Priority consideration is given to first-time applicants and individuals who have recently received a diagnosis of alopecia areata.

You will be required to submit your travel itinerary if awarded financial assistance for the 41st Annual NAAF Conference in Orlando, FL June 25 - June 28, 2026. Your travel confirmation must include: airline name, flight number, ticket cost, and departure/arrival dates and times (if applicable).

You affirm that the information you will provide in your application is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge, and you acknowledge that NAAF and its Financial Assistance Program Committee will be relying on the information provided in determining scholarship awards to the 2026 Annual Conference.In the event you are selected as a financial assistance recipient, you agree that the financial assistance will be provided in the form of a credit tendered by NAAF and applicable only to registration and/or lodging for NAAF's Annual Conference (and any other provisions, if any, for the scholarship for which you apply). You understand that you are responsible for any other expenses relating to your attendance at the National Conference.You also understand that there is no cash equivalent for the financial assistance and that it is not refundable or transferable, and applies only to the 2026 NAAF Annual Conference.If you are awarded assistance for lodging, you understand you may be asked to share a hotel room with another scholarship recipient.You agree to provide NAAF with volunteer service during the Annual Conference and a note regarding your attendance at the conference and its value to you as a member of the alopecia areata community within 90 days after attending the 2026 Annual Conference.You agree that NAAF may publish your name or identifying information, photographic likeness and statement on its website or in any electronic or print communications, identifying you as a scholarship recipient.You agree to participate in photo opportunities during conference, identifying you as a conference financial assistance recipient.In the event that you cannot attend the conference for any reason, you agree to inform NAAF immediately and understand that an alternate awardee will be selected in your place. This alternate will be selected by NAAF and its financial assistance program committee.
