15th Luxembourg International Science Expo 2025!

If you are here, we are hoping you are interested in volunteering for LISE 2025.

For those of you who don't know LISE, it is an annual event, where we invite all our partners to join us for an inspiring and activity filled week. This year we have over 130 visitors from over 30 countries, some arriving on the 26th and some on the 28th of October and all leaving on the 1st of November. We strongly rely on you as volunteers, to make this event run smoothly! Task vary from supervising our laureats during trips, to picks up and drop offs, general coordination, welcome desks... but of course also enjoy meeting and mingling with these exceptional participants.

Are you ready?

Some details here for all the events! If anything is unclear, let us know!

Day	Time	What	Description
26/10	TBD	Mobisciences  Arrivals	We have 5 delegations arriving that day, and would need help picking them up and potentialy entertaining them. There will be dinner in the evening, if you would like to join. At this point in time we do not have details of the exact arrivals time.
27/10	All day	Activity supervision or set up	We will need some volunteers for supervising the activity / helping navigate everyone, and we will need a few people at the event to help with the set up.
28/10	All day	Activity supervision, set up, arrivals	This is a jam packed day, where we will need the most volunteers! We need some for the acitivity supervision / not loosing participants part (Day and evening), arrivals (being at the airport or train station and navigating the delegations way to the hotel), welcome at the hotel, and set up at the venue!
29/10	All day	Activity supervision, set up, opening ceremony	Same kind of tasks as the day before, and if anyone would be interested in being the moderator at the cultural night, let us know!
30 & 31/10	All day	Expo Days	We would need general coordination help, answering questions, helping participants find their booths, welcoming people at the entry ...
31/10	All day	Ceremony and Party	After the expo we have the closing ceremony and party, we would need help with distribution of certificates, guiding people into the room and afterwards to the party. Of course we hope you will join us celebrate afterwards!
1/11	TBD	Departures	We may need some help coordinating the delegations for their departure. It all depends on when they leave.
3/11	All day	Dismantling	It is a sad moment, but a must, we will need help tyding up and dismanlty the expo venue... how fast it goes!

If you would be missing classes, we are happy to provide you with a class exemption letter. Please just tick the below box and we will send this to you asap, according to the dates / times you wish to volunteer.

If you are missing work, you can check with your employer if you are eligible for the congée jeunesse. We have attached the form here and would be happy to sign this for you.
