Nominations are open for the SAEM AGEM Academy Awards. Please help us recognize individuals who are making a difference in AGEM. All nominees must be a current SAEM and AGEM member, with the exceptation of the Gerson Sanders award-those nominees do not need to be members. Self-nominations are welcome and encouraged. Winners will be announced during the AGEM academy meeting at SAEM's annual meeting.
Submission Deadline: Friday, February 6, 2026

Required documentation for AGEM Awards:
- One nomination letter explaining why the candidate merits the award. The nomination letter may be submitted either by a former or current colleague, mentee, or employer.
Required documentation for AGEM Scholarships:
- One page letter of intent discussing the applicant's reasons for applying and a brief overview of the geriatric topic or case they would like to present.
- Current curriculum vitae and contact information.
- (Medical Student Scholarship Only) Letter of support from the applicant's Dean or another official in their school assuring the applicant the time off from rotations to attend the SAEM Annual Meeting if chosen.
- (Resident Member Scholarship Only) Letter of support from the applicant's program director or another official in their residency assuring the applicant the time off to attend the SAEM Annual Meeting if chosen.
