A great weekend to share, learn, laugh, and grow in our faith together.
Confirmation of Faith officially is a relationship with your home congregation or community of faith. The Youth Confirmation Weekend can be one part of that journey with a group of other youth who share similar questions, doubts, jokes, and life experiences. It's gonna be amazing!

Sleeping Arrangements: All-Gender Accommodation Policy

All-Gender Accommodation is an expression of Living Skies YAYAC’s commitment to create safer spaces for 2SLGBTQIA+ belonging, as outlined in the Living Skies Region Affirming Statement.

At our retreats everyone brings their own sleeping bag and pillow (and camping mattress if they have one). We sleep on the floor of the church, which most youth find uncomfortable, but worth it, in terms of making retreats possible on a sustainable budget!

Photo Waiver: We like to take pictures at the event to share what youth are doing at events and to advertise future events. Informed Consent and Agreement of Participation

While every precaution will be taken for the safety and good health of participants, some sports and activities carry with them the inherent risk of personal injury. I understand that by allowing this registrant to participate in the activities of this supervised event, I am exposing them to inherent risks and hazards. I accept all these risks and hazards and agree that by allowing them to participate in these activities, I acknowledge that I will be responsible for any injury or other loss which may occur during their participation in these activities.

Rev. Lindsay Mohn is the regional Minister in support of Youth & Young Adult Ministry for Living Skies Region (geographic Saskatchewan). She's playing the role of registrar and planning team co-ordinator for this retreat and is excited to be working a bunch of amazing leadership people.

Meghan Drabble is the Living Skies Region Youth and Young Adult Animator. It's a long title for explaining that she works on awesome youth events, communication and community building for youth and young adult ministries in our province.
