WWF-HK is looking for Education Programme Support Officer (Part-Time) in our Education team who will be leading the guided tour at WWF outdoor centres and effectively deliver the conservation messages to the visitors.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the guided tour and education programmes to the visitors of public tour and group tour at WWF outdoor centres on both weekdays and weekends.
- Guide the formal Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) programmes targeting primary and secondary school students, at WWF outdoor centres.
- Support the events and activities at WWF outdoor centres, including “Walk For Nature” and night tour for summer programmes.
- Coordinate the transportation and logistics for the tours, activities and events.
- Proactively engage with the visitor to ensure an exceptional visitor experience are delivered.
- The position is offered on a scheduled rostered hours basis. On-shift working arrangement on weekends and public holidays is required.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Holder of post-secondary education qualifications in Environmental Conservation, Education, Natural Science and other relevant disciplines.
- Experienced in guiding nature education activities would be an advantage.
- Holder of a first aid certification would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skill in both written and spoken Cantonese, English and Putonghua.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- A responsible, proactive person with a pleasant and outgoing personality.
- Flexible and adaptive to outdoor working environment.
- Strong enthusiasm for nature conservation.
