Civil Engineer of the Year

The Civil Engineer of the Year award category recognises civil engineers who have made outstanding technical and innovative contributions to the planning, design, and delivery of civil construction projects in Queensland. It celebrates those whose expertise, leadership, and commitment to excellence have driven lasting improvements in project outcomes, efficiency, safety, and sustainability.

• The nominee must be in a civil engineering related role.

• The nominee must be a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ), OR a letter of endorsement must be provided.

   

• The nomination is based on the nominee’s performance from 30 May 2025 to 18 May 2026 only.
  
  
• Only one (1) nominee per category, per company will be accepted in order of submission date.
  
  
• Nominations may be marked down or deemed inelgible if:
  • The submission exceeds the word limit set per criterion, or
  • The submission does not address each criterion.

All nominations must be formally approved by the nominee's employer or authorised representitive by signing this form.

All finalists should be available to attend the Excellence in Civil Construction Awards, held Friday 7 August 2026.

All nominations must be submitted by the closing date listed in the Key Dates section of this form.

If an extension is required, it must be requested prior to the closing date. Late submissions without prior approval will not be accepted. CCF QLD does not guarantee approval of an extension at any time.

MONDAY 18 MAY 2026 - People's Awards nominations close at 5:00pm AEST

MAY - JUNE 2026 - People's Awards judging to take place

JULY 2026 - People's Awards finalists to be announced by CCF QLD

6. Review the Declaration
