    In alignment with Noogngwa Health's mission to support our patients in improving their overall health and achieving a balanced state of well-being, narcotics may be prescribed in accordance with regulatory authorization under specific circumstances—for example, in cases of cancer, palliative care, or acute injury.

    Noogngwa Health will work closely with you as our patient and your family, using an integrated care approach to explore and consider alternative treatment options. These may include internal referrals to Traditional Healing, Massage Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Mental Health services.

    When appropriate, external referrals may also be arranged to help address pain management needs. These referrals will be discussed with the client and agreed upon as appropriate, based on the clinical judgement of the medical professionals at Noogngwa Health.

    We would like to invite you to book your first appointment with Dr. Levi, please call 519-422-1321. A member of our team will be happy to assist you with scheduling.

    When you attend your first appointment with the doctor, please bring all medications you are currently taking with you including over any counter medicines.

    Please note that care can only begin after your first appointment with Dr. Levi. This is why it’s important to call and schedule your appointment as soon as possible. 

    In the meantime, please continue care with your current family doctor or nurse practitioner, if you have one. It’s important to maintain your ongoing care until your registration with Noongwa Wellness is confirmed.

    • 2-1-1 Community Services Helpline – Call or text to connect with a navigator for healthcare resources and community supports.
    • Hope for Wellness Helpline – Available 24/7 for all Indigenous people across Canada. Call or chat online for confidential support.
    • Ontario Health West Virtual Urgent Care Clinic – Free virtual appointments with a nurse practitioner for adults, children/youth, and long-term care residents:
      • Adults: Monday–Friday, 1:00–9:00 p.m.
      • Children/Youth: Monday–Friday, 1:00–5:00 p.m.

     

    A Helpful Step Before Your First Appointment

    ConnectMyHealth

    Signing up for ConnectMyHealth is a great way to prepare for your first visit with a new care provider. This free digital tool securely brings together your hospital health records from across the Ontario Health West Region into one place. Having your records easily available can help your new provider quickly understand your medical history and provide the best care.

    If you are 16 or older, have a valid Ontario Health Card, and a unique email address, you can register for an account. Parents and Legal Guardians of youth aged 16–17, and Legal Representatives of adults 18+, can also register as Proxy Users to access records on the patient’s behalf. Support is available if you need help signing up.

    MedsCheck

    If you're taking three or more medications for chronic conditions, managing diabetes, or living in long-term care, consider contacting your pharmacy for a MedsCheck. This complimentary service offers a comprehensive medication review conducted by your pharmacist, ensuring the safe and effective use of your prescriptions.

    By sharing the review with your doctor, you can streamline the onboarding process and facilitate more meaningful discussions during appointments, paving the way for personalized healthcare solutions.
