Sapta Rishi Aarati is an ancient ritual dating back to more than 750 years. The seven Pandits each belonging to a different Gotra perform the Aarati simultaneously. Sandhya Aarati: Every evening a religious ritual is performed at the Kashi Vishwanath Ji Temple which is Sandhya Aarati or the evening arti. Priests perform the ritual using fire and chant Vedic Mantras while leading the worship.
