Student Aid for UC San Diego undocumented graduate students

Application closes November 9, 2025 at 11:59 pm

A graduate student with current enrollment at UC San Diego for the current academic year in which you apply. UC San Diego Extended Studies student are not eligible to apply.
Ineligible for federal financial aid (e.g., Pell Grants, Direct Loans).
Have AB 540 California Non-Resident Tuition Exemption.
Have a California Dream Act (CADAA) Application on file.
Demonstrate sufficient financial need.
Must not complete the graduate/professional program before aid is disbursed. (We can't give you the aid if you've graduated)
Award amounts will vary between $1,000-$6,000.
Aid will be disbursed during the Winter quarter. Aid may take up to six weeks to be disbursed if chosen as a recipient.
One application per student. Multiple requests will not be accepted.
