The Tribal Council approved remote voting for Tribal Council meetings to ensure equitable access for all Cheyenne and Arapaho citizens, even if they cannot attend in person. This secure system allows eligible members to observe and vote in Tribal Council meetings from a distance.
Please note:
- You will need access to a smartphone, tablet, or computer that allows you to view the meeting and cast your vote.
- If you don’t, reach out to us. We can try to help find a public computer for you to use.
- We will have a help line to call if needed.
- Remote voting training will take place one hour prior to the start of the Tribal Council meeting.
- If you register to vote remotely but then decide to attend in-person, you are welcome to do so.
- Your remote voting access will be automatically blocked from participating in that session.
- You will be given a hand-held voting device to cast your vote in person.
