TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Royal House of Ghassan – Honors and Awards Submissions
1. Nature of Fees
All invoiced fees are administrative and processing fees associated with the submission of a nomination (third-party) or a petition (self-submitted) for consideration for an honor or award.
These fees are intended solely to support:
- Administrative review and evaluation
- Due diligence processes
- Preparation of official documentation and records
- Production of insignia (if applicable)
- Packaging and shipping
No portion of the fee constitutes payment for an honor or award.
2. No Guarantee of Approval
Submission of payment does not:
- Guarantee approval of a nomination or petition
- Confer any right or entitlement to an honor or award
- Influence the decision-making process
All submissions are evaluated independently and solely on merit, service, and alignment with the values and mission of the Royal House of Ghassan.
3. Non-Refundability
All fees are non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of the review process, including but not limited to:
- Denial of nomination or petition
- Withdrawal by the nominator or petitioner
- Determination of ineligibility
This reflects the administrative and evaluative work undertaken upon submission.
4. Responsibility for Payment
- For third-party nominations, the nominator is responsible for payment of all applicable fees.
- For self-petitions, the petitioner (nominee) is responsible.
- Payment confirms acknowledgment of these terms.
5. Additional Costs Upon Approval
If a nomination or petition is approved and accepted by the nominee:
- The recipient shall be responsible for any standard passage, investiture, or related costs
- No honor shall be conferred until such obligations are fulfilled
6. Discretion and Authority
The Royal House of Ghassan retains full discretion to:
- Approve or decline any submission
- Request additional documentation or information
- Reclassify the level of distinction under consideration
- Suspend or terminate consideration at any stage
All decisions are final.
7. No Commercial Transaction
The honors system of the Royal House of Ghassan is a recognition-based and mission-driven process, not a commercial activity.
Payment of fees shall not be interpreted as:
- The purchase of a title, honor, or distinction
- A charitable donation (unless otherwise explicitly designated)
- A contractual guarantee of conferment
8. Acceptance of Terms
Payment of this invoice constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
9. Governing Principles
These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the internal statutes, customs, and governing policies of the Royal House of Ghassan as an international non-governmental entity.
