Blackwood Primary School Sports Registrations 2026
  • Blackwood Primary School - After School Sports 2026

Team competition sport at Blackwood Primary School offers your child an opportunity to build skills, meet with friends and have fun in a relaxed atmosphere. Our teams are coached and run mostly by parent/caregiver volunteers.

After School Sport is open to all students in Years 2 to 6.

All sports have varying fees to cover the cost of registration, uniforms and equipment. Fees are required to be paid at the beginning of the term prior to games commencing. Payments can be made through the QKR App. A no payment, no registration, no play policy will be enforced.

If you would like to play a sport for Blackwood Primary School, please have a parent or caregiver complete this form by:

    Basketball & Cricket FRIDAY 6th FEBURARY 2026

    Soccer & Netball FRIDAY 6th MARCH 2026

It is really important to enrol by these dates as team nominations are entered based on the number of registrations received. If this form is not completed by the closing date, your child may miss out on a team or we may be too late to nominate a team.

In order for school sport to go ahead, we need the support of parent/caregivers to fulfill the following roles:
       - Coordinator (1 per sport)
       - Coach (1 per team)
       - Team Manager (1 per team)

Please indicate below if you are willing to assist in these roles. Every team needs a coach. Without a coach, a team cannot be registered!

Parents/caregivers are expected to be at training sessions unless your child is booked into OSHC.
Sports carnivals are held towards the end of the season for most sports.

      Team Communication:
The Heja App is used for all schedules and team communication.
Download the App and the Coach will email the team code just before the season starts.

      Team Structure:
Each sport requires a volunteer Co-ordinator to oversee the overall program.
Within each team, the following structure applies:

Coach - runs training and game days, develops players’ skills, and encourages inclusive participation.

Team Manager - manages all communication and scheduling through the Heja app, assists the coach where required including stepping in to take training/games in the absence of the coach.
