Reports to: General Manager
Location: Middletown, NY (Gold’s Gym, Parisi Speed School & Swing Complex)
Compensation: $16/hour + Tips + Concierge Performance Bonus

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re building an energetic, customer-focused team of Concierges at the newly expanded Gold’s Gym, Parisi Speed School & Swing Sports Complex in Middletown, NY. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoys providing exceptional service while supporting sales and operations across multiple facilities. There will be multiple Concierges covering all hours of operations in the complex (Mon through Fri - 5am to 11pm, Sat and Sun – 7am to 7pm)
The complex includes:
- 53,000 sq. ft. Gold’s Gym
- 12,000 sq. ft. Parisi Speed School
- 16,000 sq. ft. Swing Sports Complex, featuring:
3 Pickleball courts
3 TrackMan golf simulators
4 batting cages
Cornhole & social areas
A smoothie bar/information desk serving as the central service hub for the complex.
As a Concierge, you’ll be the face of our facilities, positioned at this hub to enhance the member and guest experience, promote memberships and programs, cross-promote, make healthy shakes, and help make Gold’s Gym, Parisi Speed School, and Swing the ultimate community destination for fitness, sports, recreation, and social connection.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service & Sales:
- Deliver an exceptional experience to all members and guests.
- Greet and engage patrons, answer questions, and provide facility tours.
- Upsell memberships, classes, personal training, Parisi programs, Pickleball, Batting Cages, Golf Simulators, and special events.
- Assist customers with reservations for all activities, parties, and events.
- Share knowledge and educate guests about all areas of the complex.
Smoothie Bar & Information Desk:
- Prepare and serve high-quality smoothies and shakes with speed and professionalism.
- Accurately process payments and handle transactions responsibly.
- Maintain a spotless, organized smoothie bar, service desk, and social areas.
- Recommend products and promote facility specials to customers.
Facility Support & Operations:
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism throughout the facility.
- Manage online reservations and direct inquiries for all activities (Pickleball, Golf, Batting Cages, Personal Training, etc.).
- Address minor facility issues quickly and ensure customer safety and satisfaction.
- Help foster a vibrant, welcoming, and energetic social atmosphere.
Follow company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Previous customer service experience required (fitness, hospitality, retail, or food service preferred).
- Energetic, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Food & beverage experience (smoothie/coffee shop or similar) is a plus.
- Sales experience or eagerness to learn upselling and cross-promotion.
- Passion for fitness, sports, and recreation strongly preferred.
- Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
