- BOOTS!! Cowboy boots (no water galoshes, no uggs, no sneakers, no sandals)
- Girls: hair style done to where the hair will not be in their faces.

There will be NO approaching the score keepers during the rodeo! They are there to do a job, not answer parent’ questions or hear their complaints. IF for some reason you do not agree with the score your rider received, PLEASE find Breyana in the chute/staging area! DO NOT approach the scorers! This will lead to your rider being disqualified.
If parents or riders break HFF rules, become rude and aggressive, it could lead to the rider being disqualified for that event!

CHECK-IN: When you get to the main entry gate make sure you tell the gate staff that your child is signed up for the event and the gate staff will direct you where you’ll need to park, there'll be signage as well, please park in the appropriate area. Once parked look for the 10x10 white shade tent, you'll need to check-in your child at that tent.
If you are already FULLY registered (including waiver and payment being completed), go to the designated line that will state “Fully Registered”. If you have not completed the registration form, waiver, or payment please go to the designated line that will state “New Registration.”
MUTTON RIDERS:
You will be broken up into groups with different colored badges- this is to help eliminate the congestion behind the chutes. Only one group in the staging area at a time, next group will line up outside of the staging area until let in.
The riders names will be on a board with which group they are in.
Please respect the rules, it helps everyone!
PLEASE make sure you register for the correct division!
RIDER LIMIT
SHEEP(Limit of 75 riders): 60LBS OR LESS - NO Taller than 4ft (48 inches).
-If rider increases in weight or height between the start of the series and the current event, the final decision will be up to the board. In the event that the rider will have to move to the next level division, points may not transfer over. Its an unfortunate situation however, it would be a disadvantage to those who are under the weight limit and age. We must remain fair. Please refer to the HFF rules listed in the pdf below.
CALF(Limit of 25 riders): 7-10 YEARS OF AGE
STEER(Limit of 25 riders): 11-14 YEARS OF AGE
**Weighing Scales and Height Checks will be in chute area. RULES of each divison and what to expect: Please read HFF Rules for more details for each division which is located at the end of this registration where signature is required**
SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY
**PLEASE be sure to be listening for annoucments!! Your riders division will be called when it is time to get them in order for their ride. If child is not present when it is their turn, they will not get another one.
Parents do not need to be with child for lining up of the National Anthem. It is too cluttered to have everyone by the gates! Drop them off in the staging area and go back to the stands so you can see your rider out in the arena during introductions. You may get your rider after we have exited the arena.
Gear: We do have gear for your child to wear for their ride. However, if you have riding gear, please bring it. The gear consists of: Helmet, vest, mouthguard.
Drinks & Snacks: We will have a concession stand on site, but feel free to bring drinks and snacks for you and your family.
Historic Florence Foundation sincerely thanks you all for being a part of our event, we would not be able to have these events for the kids if it wasn't for the parents signing them up, we appreciate it!
Good Luck to each rider!
