Purpose of Engagement

We will prepare your federal and state income tax returns based solely on the information you provide. Our engagement does not include auditing or verifying data. We rely on you to provide complete and accurate information so that your returns are properly prepared.

Your Responsibilities

• You agree to provide all tax-related documents, including W-2s, 1099s, receipts, and other supporting information.
• You confirm that the information submitted is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
• You agree to review your completed return carefully before signing and filing.
• You remain legally responsible for all information reported on your tax return.

Our Responsibilities

• Preparing your return in accordance with current tax laws and IRS regulations.
• Applying our professional judgment to resolve any tax matters in your favor when legally and ethically permitted.
• Filing your return electronically once you have reviewed and signed all required authorization forms.
• Maintaining strict confidentiality and protecting your personal and financial information at all times.

Fees and Payments

Our fees are based on the complexity of your tax situation and the forms required.

• Payment is due before your return is electronically filed.
• Additional services (e.g., bookkeeping, amended returns, or audit assistance) will incur separate fees.
• All fees are non-refundable once your return has been prepared and filed.

Refunds, Penalties & Liabilities

We do our best to ensure accuracy; however, you are responsible for any tax, penalties, or interest resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided to us. We are not liable for any IRS or state tax agency actions resulting from omissions or errors on your part.

Communication Consent

By signing this agreement, you authorize Blessed Services Mobile Notary & Tax Preparation to contact you via phone, text, email, or mail regarding your tax matters. You may also receive reminders, tax tips, or promotions for future seasons unless you opt out.

Record Retention

We maintain copies of your completed tax return for three (3) years. We encourage you to keep your own copies of all tax documents for your records.

By signing below, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this engagement letter.
