This event will also feature an educational component, and we kindly ask that your display include a traditional altar (ofrenda) that reflects the customs of the region you are representing.

Please be sure to fill the space provided and, most importantly, enjoy the process of honoring your loved ones in a meaningful and respectful way.

Setup

Date: October 27th - October 30th
Time: During Library Business Hours 9AM - 5PM
Details:

Participants will pick their altar space upon arrival, first come first serve bases.
All materials and decorations must be brought by participants.
Please ensure your altar is in accordance with the region you are representing.

Display Period
Date(s): October 31st - November 2nd
Time: During Lirbary Business Hours
Details:

Altars will remain on public display throughout this period.
Please ensure your altar remains tidy and intact.
This is a shared space—please be respectful of all displays.

Teardown
Date: November 3rd
Time: During Library Business Hours
Details:

All items must be removed during this time.
Please leave the space clean and free of materials or debris.
