There are several fun and important ways to get involved:

Balloon Chase Crew: Assist pilots and follow balloons after launch.
Field Set Up: Help get the event space ready for guests.
Special Shape Balloon Crew: Assist pilots and follow balloons after launch, working alongside unique and exciting balloons.
Pilot/Sponsor Dinner Set Up & Break Down: Support a special evening for our pilots and sponsors.
Fire It Up Pilot & Park Help: Lend a hand during our main event.
Tether Balloon Crew: Help with balloons that give guests a safe, up-close experience.
Merchandise: Help set-up, break-down and sell Hot Air for Hope merchandise.
Park Wrap Up: Be part of the crew that helps close the event smoothly.

As an ambassador for Hot Air for Hope, we ask you to be helpful and pleasant to those who ask questions; look for any potential safety problems; if there is trash that can be picked up...pick it up, if the garbage cans are full, see that they are emptied; if the lights go out, notify the person(s) in charge immediately. REMEMBER...you are there to help things run smoothly, so if you see ANYTHING that might detrimentally affect the operation or enjoyment of Hot Air for Hope please do SOMETHING to help solve that particular problem. When in doubt, ask your Committee Chair.
I agree to:
-Uphold the integrity of the Hot Air for Hope Balloon Festival.
-Attend volunteer meeting/trainings.
-Work my scheduled hours. If unable to work, contact your Committee Chair.
-No use of alcohol or controlled substances while working your shift(s), or while acting as a representative of Hot Air for Hope.
-Wear volunteer shirt and ID Badge at all times while you are volunteering.
-Not have anyone with you during volunteer hours if they are not volunteering.
-Assist with safety on the launch field. Help keep the launch area free of chairs, coolers, blankets, animals, strollers and any other items which may be deemed inappropriate or which might interfere with the lay-out, inflation, or launch of the balloons.
-Know your limits and do not overextend yourself.
-Be an ambassador of good will not only for Hot Air for Hope but for the entire community.
-HAVE A GREAT TIME!!
