  • Level of Experience

  • To be eligible for Rupture, you need to have been writing or making screen work for some time. This programme is not for beginners or emerging practitioners. 

    We are looking for applicants who have produced screen credits as a lead writer or have produced artistic work in another form that demonstrates their creative voice e.g. published writing or poetry.

  • Being part of Rupture '26 requires you to make yourself completely available for the programmed workshop days which must be attended in person along with other time commitments to the development of your series.

    Domestic travel costs and accommodation for those outside of Auckland to attend the workshops will be covered by Rupture.
