  • The Choir at St. George’s Parish Church

The choir plays an integral role in the musical life and worship of St. George’s. We are open to all, regardless of faith or musical experience, and warmly welcome new members. The only thing we ask is a commitment to attend as regularly as possible.

    When we meet:

Rehearsals – Wednesday evenings in church, 7.30–8.30pm (Term time)
Sunday mornings – Sung Eucharist at 10.00am (approx. 1 hour 15 minutes)

The choir also sings at special services and events throughout the year, with Christmas and Easter being our busiest seasons.

    Attendance:
We ask choristers to let us know in advance of any Sundays or rehearsals they are unable to attend. This can be done by marking the attendance calendar in the choir vestry or by informing the Director of Music or Head Chorister. This helps us plan music and rehearsal schedules effectively.
