Breeder provides a one-year warranty from the puppy/dog's date of birth against any debilitating congenital conditions. For purposes of this section, "debilitating congenital conditions" include terminal/fatal genetic conditions and expressly do not include minor illnesses or injuries unrelated to genetic defects.
If the dog exhibits symptoms of a suspected debilitating congenital condition, Buyer must immediately inform Breeder and supply any requested veterinary records. Breeder will be given the opportunity to take the puppy to a licensed veterinarian of Breeder's choice. Buyer must complete a Health Guarantee Claim Form. If the dog/puppy has passed away, a necropsy MUST be performed to determine cause of death. If no necropsy is performed, the dog/puppy will not be replaced.
Not Covered by Health Guarantee:
Diseases that are not life-threatening and do not adversely affect the overall health of the puppy (e.g., localized/demodectic mange, over/under bite, grade 1-2 heart murmur, grade 1-2 luxating patella, cherry eye, inverted eyelid, inverted tail, inverted vulva, undescended testicle, entropion, loose hips, skin allergies, elongated soft palate Fees for veterinary professional opinions, including but not limited to: office visits, exams, progress exams, rechecks, consultations, specialist consultations, emergency visits, x-rays, umbilical hernias, Coronavirus testing/treatment. Stress-related illness such as coccidia, giardia, kennel cough, pneumonia, diarrhea, and hypoglycemia that may occur from the stress of moving to Buyer's home. Buyer is solely responsible for any vet bills incurred as a result. Injury or illness due to intentional, neglectful, or preventable acts (e.g., ingestion of foreign objects, cruciate ligament injuries, chipped teeth, car-related injuries, bug bites, etc Behavioral issues requiring training, therapy, medications, or modifications (e.g., potty training, digging, chewing Hip dysplasia diagnoses related to overweight or over-exercised puppy/dog. Deformations resulting from knuckling that were not properly addressed.
9. Buyer's Ongoing Responsibilities
Buyer's Continued Responsibilities The Buyer agrees to provide ongoing care and management of the puppy, including but not limited to:
Providing safe housing, secure fencing, proper nutrition, and routine veterinary care. Feeding an appropriate large-breed puppy, adult, or all-life-stages diet. Use of grain-free diets will void the health guarantee.
