  • Nominate Your Favorite Seattle Artist For A $10,000 Grant From Sonic Guild

  • Welcome to the Sonic Guild Seattle Artist Grant Nomination Form! This is your chance to nominate a local band or artist in Seattle for consideration in our annual $10,000 grants. Since 2020 we have redistributed over $650k directly to local musicians.

    Sonic Guild 2025 Grants Timeline:

    • October 2: Public nominations open
    • October 16: Public nominations close
    • Oct 24: Round 1 nominees announced
    • Nov 9: Round 1 voting closes
    • November 17: Top 40 nominees announced, final voting opens
    • November 26: Final voting closes
    • December 5: Grant recipients announced
    • February 21, 2026: Celebration event with performances by grantees at The Triple Door.

    Artists must be based and actively working within 100 miles of Seattle, including Tacoma, Bellingham, and Olympia. You may only nominate a band or artist once, and submitting multiple nominations for the same artist will not increase their chances. You may nominate as many different artists as you like by resubmitting the form. Past Sonic Guild grant recipients are not eligible. However, past grantees performing in new projects or solo work are eligible for nomination. Artists May self nominate. When nominating artists, please consider which artists are actively working and performing in the Seattle area and how the Sonic Guild grant would support their career growth in Seattle and beyond.

    Artists who performed with Sonic Guild in 2025 are already nominated. You may still submit a nomination if you would like to share additional thoughts, but they will appear automatically on the nomination list. This includes Emi Pop, The Whags, Zookraught, Midnight High, Babes in Canyon, Instant Crush, AJ Suede, Akira Galaxy, The Passenger String Quartet, Sister Swimmer, Mike Fraizer, Rub, Armour, Amelia Day, Mei Wei, Raegan Leilani, Kimo Muraki, Liv Victorino, Breaks and Swells, Brenna Bruce, Jua, and Shelby Natasha.

    The following artists have already received the Sonic Guild grants and are not eligible in 2025: Acid Tongue, All Star Opera, Bearaxe, Beautiful Freaks, Beverly Crusher, Biblioteka, Black Belt Eagle Scout, Black Ends, Brittany Davis, Bryan John Appleby, Byland, Caitlin Sherman, Chong the Nomad, Cumulus, Da Qween, Dark Chisme, Day Soul Exquisite, Dean Johnson, Deep Sea Diver, King Youngblood, La Fonda, Linda From Work, LivT, Marshall Law Band, Maya Marie, Monsterwatch, Naked Giants, Oblé Reed, Parisalexa, Richard Simeonoff, Sassy Black, Sera Cahoone, Shaina Shepherd, Shelby Earl, Small Paul, Smokey Brights, Sol, Stephanie Anne Johnson, Tekla/Jeff, Telehealth, Terror Cactus, TeZATalks, The Black Tones, The Moondoggies, Thunderpussy, Tomo Nakayama, Tres Leches, True Loves, Whitney Monge, Wild Powwers, and Zan Fiskum.
