    Business Professionals of America is now accepting workshop proposals for the 2026 National Leadership Conference, May 6–10, 2026, in Nashville, TN. As we celebrate BPA’s 60th anniversary, workshops will play a vital role in amplifying the impact of our members, advisors, alumni, and professionals.

    Key details to know before you submit:

    • Workshop Dates: May 7–8, 2026 (8 a.m.–5 p.m.)
    • Session Formats: 45-minute workshops, 20-minute quick sessions, or unique formats you propose
    • Audiences:
      • Leadership Passport Sessions – student-focused; practical skills and leadership growth
      • Advisor Professional Learning Sessions – educator-focused; classroom and chapter strategies
      • Other: alumni, parents, or other education professionals
    • Priority Deadline: November 15, 2025 (proposals submitted by this date will be included in the Conference Preview Guide)
    • Review Process: Proposals are reviewed on a rolling basis, with priority given to those aligned to BPA’s mission and this year’s theme, Amplify Your Impact.

  • Speaker Compensation

    Speaking engagements at the conference are voluntary, and no funding is typically provided. In rare cases, limited support may be considered for proposals that offer exceptional value to attendees or when the presenter is also contributing to the conference in another capacity (such as serving as a competitive event judge or general volunteer). Any request for support should be detailed in the proposal and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

  • Speaker Agreement

    To be considered, all speakers must agree to the following terms. If you are not able to consent to all items but would still like to be considered, please contact Gayle Robinson at grobinson@bpa.org to discuss.

    • Availability: I confirm that I am available to present on May 7–8, 2026.
    • Attendance: I understand that presentations must be delivered in-person at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, TN.
    • Non-Commercial: I agree that my presentation will be educational and skill-focused and not promotional in nature or primarily intended to market a product, service, or organization.
      Note: If a session is determined to be promotional, BPA may require a sponsorship agreement in order to present.
    • Marketing & Promotion: I grant BPA permission to promote my name, presentation title, and materials via print, electronic, and social media channels before, during, and after the event.
    • Use of BPA Brand: I understand that I may not use BPA’s name, logo, or likeness without the express written permission of BPA.
    • Code of Conduct: I agree to uphold BPA’s National Conference Code of Conduct, which emphasizes professionalism, inclusivity, and respect for all participants.
