Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy Application 2026-2027

Baltimore County Alumnae Chapter
The Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy is a signature program of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, designed to provide adolescent girls in grades 6–8 with opportunities to enrich and enhance their education in mathematics, science, and technology.

Through mentorship, leadership development, and service learning, participants are encouraged to cultivate meaningful relationships, develop their leadership skills, and build the confidence necessary to become successful leaders in the 21st century.

Program activities may include:
- Computer and technology training
- Self-esteem and personal development workshops
- Etiquette and leadership development
- Science-focused field trips and educational experiences
- College exposure and campus visits
- Cultural outings, including museums, plays, concerts, and special events
- Educational and social enrichment activities
If you are interested in participating in the Baltimore County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated’s Delta Academy program and are committed to personal growth, leadership development, and educational success, we invite you to complete and submit the application.

Orientation: Sunday, October 16, 2026 at 6:30 p.m.

Location: Virtually via Zoom
