Membership Application Form
Thank you for submitting your membership application, all applications are assessed individually and will be approved by the board of NZBPST - this may take several weeks depending on the date of the next Committee meeting. Your patience is appreciated.

Please note that NZBPST sets the highest standards to differentiate from other industry bodies by only offering "Full Membership" to those who possess formal qualifications in their field.

Attendance certificates are not qualifications (as can be issued by anyone) but are are still valued as part of your application and will be added to your members profile.

To be a full member of NZBPST you will need to provide evidence that you are formally qualified. A 'qualification' refers to completing a period of study covering all relevant topics associated with that qualification’s curriculum. It indicates that your assessment has been set and approved by an NZQA-accredited training provider or an internationally recognised qualifying body with equivalent standards.

In the case that you possess more than three recognised industry qualifications; please scan and email them directly to Julie Martin: admin@nzbpst.co.nz with an
accompanying email stating your name, and that you have applied via the website for membership.

Should you have additional credentials you would like attached to your application -
these can also be emailed as above, documents not required for membership
application can be stored on your record.

If you are applying as an Associate Member – Associate membership is for
prospective members who do not have recognised qualifications or work in another
capacity within the beauty/skin therapy profession, but want to be identified as a
professional contributor who abides by the professional standards and Code of Ethics set down by the NZ Board of Professional Skin Therapies.

Your application and profile details will be assessed and stored in accordance with the NZ Privacy laws. Your details will not be shared with third parties without prior consent from you.
