Tauri Morgan Memorial Grant

Honouring the late Tauri Morgan, Kaumātua for NZPF and former principal of Waiouru Primary School, this is a grant to assist NZPF members from U4+ schools to attend an NZPF Conference. Applications close 1 March.
TAURI MORGAN MEMORIAL GRANT POLICY
1. The grant will be known as the Tauri Morgan Memorial Grant.
2. The Grant is to assist NZPF members from U4+ schools to attend an NZPF Conference. (Note that Principals from U1-3 schools should apply for the Don Le Prou Grant).
3. Total per grant is $1000. All other expenses are the responsibility of the recipient of these grants.
4. The Grant is to be taken by the end of the calendar year after the grant has been granted.
5. Applications for the grant must be made in writing on the form provided, accompanied by an outline of the proposal which must be received by NZPF National Office by 1 March.
6. All applications will be considered by a sub-committee of the NZPF Executive. The sub‑committee may, at its discretion, require applicants to provide additional information.
7. Successful applicants will be notified within a month of the closing date.
8. Within three months of the conference attendance, the successful applicant will be expected to provide a brief report to the NZPF National Office.
9. Applicants must clearly understand that there is no extension possible to the funding arrangements or to any time limits specified.
10. The successful recipients will be officially announced in the Principal Matters newsletter.
11. Funding will be paid to the recipient’s school.
12. Payments will be forwarded on receipt of evidence of payment of the registration.
