TAURI MORGAN MEMORIAL GRANT POLICY
- The grant will be known as the Tauri Morgan Memorial Grant.
- The Grant is to assist NZPF members from U4+ schools to attend an NZPF Conference. (Note that Principals from U1-3 schools should apply for the Don Le Prou Grant).
- Total per grant is $1000. All other expenses are the responsibility of the recipient of these grants.
- The Grant is to be taken by the end of the calendar year after the grant has been granted.
- Applications for the grant must be made in writing on the form provided, accompanied by an outline of the proposal which must be received by NZPF National Office by 1 March.
- All applications will be considered by a sub-committee of the NZPF Executive. The sub‑committee may, at its discretion, require applicants to provide additional information.
- Successful applicants will be notified within a month of the closing date.
- Within three months of the conference attendance, the successful applicant will be expected to provide a brief report to the NZPF National Office.
- Applicants must clearly understand that there is no extension possible to the funding arrangements or to any time limits specified.
- The successful recipients will be officially announced in the Principal Matters newsletter.
- Funding will be paid to the recipient’s school.
- Payments will be forwarded on receipt of evidence of payment of the registration.

- Demonstrate bicultural aspirations
- Quality & integrity of the application
- Include professional learning needs
- First time recipients will be given priority
- Applicant must be a current financial member of NZPF
