Membership Fees
From 2026, membership fees will support the ongoing sustainability and delivery of all Suncoast Spinners programs.

Suncoast Spinners will operate under a single all-inclusive annual membership fee, providing members access to all regular programs delivered by the club with no additional participation or game fees.

Membership Fees
Individual membership: $200 per calendar year
Family membership options: Family membership starts at $350 for 2 people over 12 years of age, add $100 for a 3rd family member and $50 for a 4th. All family members must reside from the same household. Children 12 years and under are free with a paying parent/guardian. For example the cost for a family of four adults from the same household is $500.The cost for a family of one adult and one child under 12 is $200.

Paying with a Play On Voucher: Select Play On Voucher in payment options and email your Play On voucher to info@suncoastspinners.com.au.

Membership is valid upon payment and approval by the management committee from the 1st January 2026 to 31st December 2026.

Dance to Move is proudly supported by ILS Kids

Social Wheelchair Basketball

UniSC Wednesday Wheelchair Basketball program is proudly supported by Qspec Building Mobility Solutions.

Morayfield Friday Wheelchair Basketball program is supported through the Moreton Bay Council's Healthy Active Moreton Program. (It is a requirement on attendance that participant contact details will be provided to the Moreton Bay Regional Council and particioants maybe contacted by the council for feedback as a participant of program.)

Murgon PCYC Saturday program is supported through the South Burnett Councils Community Grant and the Powerlinks Community Grant.
Carer's and Companion Card Holder
Members attending Suncoast Spinners programs with a Support Companion, and in the instance that the Companion participates in training and games, the Companion details must be registered below.

Companion attending with a registered Paid In Full Suncoast Spinners member may participate free of charge with a valid companion card in the name of the registered member.

Support companions must be activly supporting their client at all times.

- Suncoast Spinners 2026 Membership is required to participate in programs.
- Plan your arrival at the stadium 15 minutes before each session.
- Be ready to play prior to arriving
- Limit your belongings to essential items only
- Bring a water bottle

Personal injury insurance is not included in Membership or the Games Fee. All participants should organise appropriate insurance relative to their sport and individual circumstances.

All non-Queensland residents that use the Queensland Ambulance Service will be invoiced for the service. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure they are covered for this expense via their own state’s ambulance membership, private health insurance or travel insurance.

Code of Conduct

As a participant at the 2026 Suncoast Spinners Wheelchair Basketball Program, I agree to each of the following expectations below:
- I will abide by the rules of the Club.
- I will display good sportsmanship and respect for all other participants.
- I will respect the efforts and decisions of the referees and scorebench officials.
- I will respect the efforts and decisions of Suncoast Spinners staff and volunteers, including the Coach.
- I will raise any concerns I have with Suncoast Spinners staff in a respectful and constructive manner.
I understand that not fulfilling any of the expectations above could result in my suspension or expulsion from the program.

All participants agree to the Basketball Australia players Code of Conduct. Any breach of this Code will result in expulsion from the program.

I agree that I am physically fit and able to participate in the program.

INFORMATION for APPLICANTS

Acceptance is not guaranteed, all applications will be assessed by the management committee and the applicant will be advised on the outcome following the next committee meeting after the application is submitted.

If your application is accepted, your name and address, as provided above, must be recorded in a register of members and be made available to other members, upon request, under section 27 of the Associations Incorporation Act.

However, the management committee may, on the application of a member of the association, withhold information about the member (other than the member’s full name) from the register available for inspection if the management committee has reasonable grounds for believing the disclosure of the information would put the member at risk of harm.

PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE AND WAIVER

By becoming a member of Suncoast Spinners Wheelchair Basketball Inc. I consent to the use, publication and reproduction by Suncoast Spinners Wheelchair Basketball Inc. its employees, officers, contractors or agents of photographs/video of me for the purposes of advertising, media publicity, general display or for any other club purposes in whole or in part, including on the club’s website or on social media, and as a consequence, photographs may be transferred outside Australia.
