Get ready to join the Kirkcaldy Parks Running Festival K107 Superhero Fun Run! This fun, family‑friendly event is open to all children aged 0–15.

We’re excited to introduce a Superhero Theme for this year’s run—feel free to arrive in costume, though fancy dress is completely optional.

The fun run will run as a pay‑as‑you‑please event, with a suggested donation of £3 per child to help keep this community event running.

Whilst Kirkcaldy Parks Running Festival fully accepts its duty of care and will do everything it can to minimise risk of injury and harm to all participants whilst at KPRF events, it is parents/guardians who ultimately have responsibility for the welfare of their children.

It is not mandatory for a parent/guardian to participate in KPRF Kids Fun Run, but children under the age of 11 must be accompanied to and from the event by a responsible adult, and the responsible adult must remain in attendance for the duration of the event

Parents and guardians thank you for supporting your young runners! Simply fill out the form below to get started. The fun run will take place on Sunday 30th August 2026, race start time will be 10.30am at the main race start line. Further details about the event will be sent to you in due course via email. Please complete a new form for each child.

Please note the fun run is a 1 mile route around Beveridge Park, to take part runners must be able to walk or run a mile in under 30 minutes.

Children age 12+ may also wish to take part in our 5k trail race on Saturday 29th August. Click HERE to register. (Places are limited)
