Our Crew positions take place during the weeks/months leading up to Camp Summerdaze, during the festival weekend, and the week(s) following the event. Specific details will be provided depending on the role assigned.

CONSTRUCTION + PRODUCTION TEAM

Various build and renovation projects and setting up the full infrastructure. Positions available May - July (part time weekend positions and/or fulle time).

KITCHEN SUPPORT TEAM - LINE COOKS + SUPPORT CREW

We're looking for multiple people to support our team during our festival month. Great option for someone that works remotely as there will be some free time during the day.

PAINTING & SIGNAGE

Creative painting skills are a must. Drill skills are helpful - this role takes place in June/July, prior to the event.

DECOR

Creative role for those that want to create some magic throughout the property - this role takes place the week of July 20, prior to the event and includes tear down post event until August 5.

SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN

This is a remote position for those who are Facebook + IG savvy. We are looking for some support with our socials - working alongside our social media manager (up to 3 hours a week, April - August)

AU PAIR

Do you love kids and love nature? We're looking for some support with our team's children during the month of July - planning activities, crafting, sports, nature walks, etc. Suitable for someone that works remotely with flexible hours (flexible start around July - August).

BATHROOM TEAM

Event specific position - keeping the bathrooms tidy and clean throughout the weekend. This role takes place July 30 - Aug 4.

WASTE MANAGEMENT TEAM

Event specific position - keeping all garbage sorting areas tidy and the sorting process organized. This role takes place from July 30-Aug 6.

REFRESH TEAM

We love seeing the common areas looking fresh throughout the day and water replenished at workshop spaces - this role takes place from July 30 - Aug 4.

LIFEGUARD

Safety is our number one priority! We are looking for someone to keep a look out during specific hours at the lake - this role takes place from July 30-Aug 4.

HARM REDUCTION + FIRST AID

The well-being of our community is critical to this experience! This role takes place from July 30-Aug 4.

SECURITY

We are looking for people to support our security measures - this role takes place from July 30-Aug 3.

TEAR DOWN/STRIKE CREW

This is a very important role to support our core production team - help us return the land back to its beautiful glory. Pack up all event gear and reset the property. These positions take place from Aug 3-8.

ARRIVALS/DEPARTURES TEAM + PARKING
You are the first faces our campers see upon arrival and the last upon departure - super happy friendly vibes are a must! These roles include camper check in, camping support, departure support, and parking attendants. These positions take place from July 30-Aug 4.

GLAMPING
Do you have attention to detail and great customer service skills? We are looking for a team to support our glamping team with the check in and check out process for the glamping tents (including housekeeping post event). Roles pre/during Camp - July 27-Aug 5

DRIVERS

Support the days leading up to Camp - Toronto, Montreal or Ottawa pick ups where needed (including airport pick ups and drop offs). Roles takes place between July 29 and August 5. Must have a clean/reliable car and a valid license/insurance.

LANDSCAPING TEAM

Help our team with campsite landscaping in the spring - roles take place over the weekend - Friday-Sunday in April.

Wherever help is needed - position may change daily. Positions available pre/post/during Camp.

Do you consent to Camp Summerdaze using your submitted photo for promotional purposes if selected? Please note that by attending the festival, you acknowledge and agree that photos and videos taken of campers and crew onsite may be used for promotional and marketing purposes.

To secure your position at Camp Summerdaze, a $300+hst deposit is required. This deposit will be returned after the event, provided that your role has been fulfilled in full - including all scheduled hours, responsibilities, and expectations. If your role is not completed as agreed, you may forfeit your deposit in full. If your role takes place before the Camp Summerdaze weekend, you will not be required to pay the deposit.
