Did you know that positive self-esteem and self-identity are two of the strongest early predictors of school success? For deaf/hard of hearing (d/hh) kids, having friends that are also d/hh is a huge factor in developing positive self-esteem and identity.

We know it can be hard to take the first step in making connections, so we’ve done the work for you! Join us for a fun evening of making new friends and socializing with other families in your area who are also starting kindergarten in September 2026.

We will be offering cheese or pepperoni pizza. If these do not meet your dietary restrictions, please feel free to bring along your own alternative.

This event is open to children going into Kindergarten next year and children who are already in Kindergarten, and their parents/guardians. Unfortunately, we are unable to include siblings for this event.

Registration is required for this event – please register below. Deadline to register is October 15th.
