ACT’s Small Group Academic Program is designed to support neurodivergent children with a diagnosis of ADHD, Dyslexia, ASD, or other learning differences in reaching their academic goals within a reduced-ratio setting (1:3). Using evidence-based methods, the program targets key skill areas including reading, math, writing or spelling.
Each weekly session runs for three hours and is divided into three 1-hour instructional blocks: Reading Mastery, Connecting Math Concepts and either Spelling Mastery or Expressive Writing.
Families may register their child for the full session or choose the specific block(s) that best match their child’s learning needs. Before beginning, students complete a placement test to determine their starting level. Instruction is delivered by trained Direct Instruction (DI) instructors, with oversight from a registered behaviour analyst and additional support staff as needed.
Please note that this group is only available in English.
