2026 Delaware County Arts Grant Community Arts Application

The Roxbury Arts Group is proud to work in partnership with the New York State Council on the Arts since 1986 to administer the Delaware County Arts Grant program. This opportunity is a regrant program of NYSCA and is made possible with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature. Community Arts grants constitute the majority of Delaware County Arts Grant-making. These grants provide support for arts and cultural projects and programs that take place in Delaware County to enable emerging artists and organizations to enhance the cultural climate in communities and neighborhoods where they live and operate.

All applicants must upload a W-9 form. The W-9 must be dated in the current year. If applying as an individual, the name in this W-9 must match the name that has Delaware County Residency. Non-profit applicants or those working with Fiscal Sponsors must include their non-profit EIN.

Proof of Delaware County Residency

Artist applicants must submit proof of Delaware County residency. These can be driver's license, ID, utility bill, telephone bill, credit card or bank statement, current rent/mortgage agreement listing your name and Delaware County Address, or Voter Registration Card. Your address and name must match those on the W-9.

Letters of Commitment

If you are working with a Fiscal Sponsor or Community Partner you should upload a letter of commitment between you and the group. This letter should detail that you have permission to apply and be signed by a member of the non-profit’s board or organization’s leadership and detail agreed roles and responsibilities between you/your organization and your Fiscal Sponsor/Community Partner. You may also upload any letters of commitment between you and any artists you will be working with, as well as any venues you plan to use. These are not required but will make your application stronger.

Letters of Authority

If you are applying on behalf of an organization you need to upload a letter of authority showing you have permission to apply. This letter should; be on the organization’s letterhead, be signed by at least one other board member, be dated in the current year, detail you have permission to apply.
