Painting the Spirit Rock has become a fun and creative way at Wake County Public Schools to wish your kiddo a Happy Birthday or a Congratulations on a job well done. We are so excited to instill this tradition at Pleasant Plains Elementary!
DISCLAIMER: Messages must be appropriate for an elementary school audience. If they do not meet this criteria, they will be painted over immediately.
WHEN? Rock painting will be held on Saturdays, beginning October 4th. Your display will be up at the school for ONE WEEK. There will be no painting the weekend of December 20th or 27th due to the Holiday Break.
WHERE? Pleasant Plains Elementary Carpool Loop: 1511 Woodall Crest Drive
WHAT DO I USE TO PAINT? Please bring your own supplies. We recommend using paint that is suitable for the outdoors. Craft paint will wash away in the rain.
COST? Each painting session is $35 and must be paid directly to the PPE PTA at the following link: http://pleasantplainspta.givebacks.com/shop/items/c7b7eae53acf
If payment is not received within 14 days of signing up, your week will be released back to the public. 100% of Spirit Rock painting will fund this year's PTA Programs at PPE.
