  • Monterey Park City Business License Requirement

    All vendors must obtain a City of Monterey Park business license before operating at the Night Market. The online application is the fastest and easiest method, typically takes about 3 business days to process, and the annual license fee for small businesses is $75 annually.

    Temporary Food Facility (TFF) Permit Requirement

    Do not submit TFF directly to LA County Public Health. All TFF applications and fees must be submitted to the Event Organizer, who is responsible for filing with the Department of Public Health.

    All food booth vendors are required by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health to obtain a Temporary Food Facility (TFF) Permit. Please ensure all forms are filled out correctly and submitted on time.

    Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Department of Public Health at communityevents@ph.lacounty.gov or (626) 430-5320 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except Holidays.

    • Vendors must complete the TFF Application in full to avoid any processing delays.  If applicable, A Shared Kitchen Agreement form must be completed.
    • If the approved facility/kitchen is not located in LA County. Provide a copy of the health permit.
    • The completed application and permit fee must be submitted directly to our Vendor Representative.
    • As the Event Organizer, we are required by LA County Health Department to collect and submit all TFF applications on behalf of our vendors.
    • A TFF Permit is valid for up to 25 events within a 90-day period. Vendors planning to attend multiple dates at the Monterey Park Night Market should apply accordingly.

    Seller’s Permit Requirement

    All vendors are required to provide a valid California Seller’s Permit.

    • This permit is issued by the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) and can add a temporary selling location at no extra cost.
    • Vendors must submit a copy of their Seller’s Permit to our Vendor Representative before participating in the market.
    • Vendors without a valid Seller’s Permit may be denied participation by the event organizer or state authorities.
    • The Seller’s Permit must list "your business location" and “St. Stephen Martyr Church, 320 W Garvey Ave, Monterey Park, CA 91754” as a temporary selling location.

    Certificate of Insurance (COI) Requirement

    All vendors are required to carry general liability insurance with at least $1,000,000 per occurance and list both Event Orgnazer "Infinitus.la Inc" and venue "St. Stephen Martyr Church" and "The Archdiocese of Los Angeles and all of its affiliates" as additionally insured. Proof of insurance (COI) must be submitted prior to participation.

    By applying to participate as a vendor, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:


    1. Application & Approval

    • Vendor Application submission does not guarantee acceptance.
    • Vendors will be notified of approval and provided with confirmation details and payment instructions.
    • The Organizer reserves the right to accept or deny any application in order to ensure a balanced mix of vendors.

    2. Fees & Payment

    • Booth fees must be paid in full by the deadlines provided in the confirmation email.
    • Fees are non-refundable
    • Late submissions are subject to a processing fee and are not guaranteed placement.

    3. Vendor Setup & Operation

    • Vendors must arrive during the designated setup window and remain open for the entire event duration.
    • Late arrivals or early breakdowns may result in exclusion from future events.
    • Vendors are responsible for bringing their own equipment (tents, tables, weights, chairs, signage, tarps, lighting, generators, etc.), unless otherwise arranged.

    4. Permits, Licensing & Compliance

    • All required permits, licenses, and insurance must be provided by deadlines:
      • LA County Health Permit (TFF for food booth vendors)
      • Monterey Park City Business License
      • California Seller’s Permit
      • Certificate of Insurance (COI)
    • All vendors must have the above on site and available for inspection during the event.
    • Vendors who do not provide required documentation by deadline are subject to a late fee and may forfeit their booth.
    • Vendors are responsible for compliance with all federal, state, county, and city regulations.
    • Cooking vendors must comply with all fire safety regulations, including maintaining a fire extinguisher on-site and using only approved cooking equipment

    5. Insurance & Liability

    • Vendors participate at their own risk. The Event, Organizer, Venue, and partners are not liable for theft, damage, loss, or injury.
    • Vendors must carry general liability insurance and may be required to list the Organizer and Venue as additionally insured.
    • Vendors without proper permits, licensing, or insurance assume full responsibility and liability.

    6. Cleanliness & Safety

    • Vendors must maintain a clean booth space at all times.
    • Food vendors are required to place tarps or floor coverings beneath all cooking and prep areas to protect the asphalt from spills, oil, and grease.
    • All trash, equipment, and merchandise must be removed from the site before departure.
    • Failure to properly clean your booth space may result in exclusion from future events.

    7. Conduct

    • Vendors are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner toward staff, attendees, and fellow vendors.
    • Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate removal without refund.

    8. Cancellations, Weather & Blackout Dates

    • The Night Market is an outdoor event and is subject to weather conditions, holidays, and blackout dates.
    • In the event of severe weather, safety hazards, or other unforeseen circumstances, the Organizer may reschedule, modify, or cancel the event at their discretion.

    9. Marketing & Media Release

    • Vendors agree to support the Night Market by promoting their participation on social media using official event tags/hashtags when possible.
    • By participating, vendors grant the Organizer permission to use photos, videos, and other media of their booth, products, and likeness for event marketing and promotional purposes.

    10. Agreement
