Call for Mentors The Algae Accelerator OC 2 - Application Form
The AlgaeProBANOS mentoring programme accelerates algae product development in the Baltic and North Sea by matching experts with SMEs and start-ups.

For Algae Accelerator OC 2, selected key challenges include business strategy, testing, market growth, and technology knowledge.

The 6-month programme is split into three 2-month SPRINTs, with mentors assigned to beneficiaries after a matchmaking process. Mentors provide direct support, along with additional independent work to meet KPIs set in an MoU. At least 24 contact hours across the SPRINTs are required.

Mentor responsibilities:
- Supporting early-stage companies to enhance investment readiness in key business areas.
- Offering coaching and/or capacity-building workshops.

By submitting this form and applying to become a mentor in The Algae Accelerator programme, you agree to the following confidentiality obligations:
- Any information, materials, or data disclosed to you by your prospective or assigned mentee(s) during the course of the mentoring programme shall be treated as strictly confidential.
- You shall not disclose, share, reproduce, or otherwise use such information for any purpose outside the mentoring relationship, unless you have received the explicit prior written consent of the mentee.
- This obligation applies to both technical and non-technical information, including but not limited to business strategies, financial information, product development details, market plans, and intellectual property.
- Your duty of confidentiality remains in force during and after the programme, with no time limitation, unless the information has become publicly available through no breach of your obligations.
- This confidentiality commitment does not restrict you from using knowledge or expertise that you already possessed before entering the programme, or information that is lawfully obtained from other independent sources.
By completing this form, you acknowledge and agree to these confidentiality obligations as a condition of participating as a mentor in The Algae Accelerator.
