Submissions accepted thru October 15. Final approval notifications October 18. This is due to limited vendor space and to ensure you don't all have the same kind of chili.
RULES:
There is no fee to enter the chili cook-off competition, but you must purchase a ticket to this event to participate.
Check-in for Chili Cook-Off is 1pm to 3pm on Saturday, October 25, 2025. When you arrive, go check-in, sign liability waiver, unload your vehicle at your spot then move vehicle to designated parking area. No driving allowed inside event area after gates open to guests until event has ended. You may pack up your booth after we announce the cook-off winner, but you won't be able to drive up to load out. If you need to leave before the event ends, just walk your things to your vehicle. However, we encourage you to stay and enjoy the band and movie!
Chili must be cooked onsite day of event. You may cook your meat beforehand and other ingredients may be prepped such as chop vegetables, etc. Do not "assemble" your chili until you are at the event and have OK to proceed.
You may bring a 10x10 canopy, but you must bring your own 5' to 6' table with tablecloth and a chair. You also may bring an additional table to put behind you for prep. Refrigerated ingredients must stay in your ice chest until needed. You will also need at least 25' extension cord.
Chili must be prepared in 7-10 quart crockpot with lid and be ready for tasting by 6pm.
Bring all needed utensils. Please wear gloves while handling food or bring disinfectant wipes for cleaning hands.
Brookstock Events will provide spoons, napkins, and sample cups for tasting. You will give your chili samples to guests from 6pm to 7pm. Guests will have notecards and ballots for voting for their favorite chili.
Right after costume contest, all contestants will come on stage for recognition and tell us your name and name of your chili. Top 3 will be announced then the winner. Winner receives $100 cash and (2) 2026 season passes to all Brookstock sponsored events at Brookstock Events in Dover - over $300 value.
