Release of Liability Waiver
This is a rain-or-shine event, and unfortunately, we are not able to issue refunds or reimbursements if a participant needs to cancel their pre-registration. If you are unable to attend, we encourage you to gift or transfer your registration to a friend or family member.
Assumption of Risk & Liability Release
By participating in the Old Town Motorama, produced by Hot Rod Coalition, Inc., you acknowledge and agree that you do so voluntarily and entirely at your own risk. Hot Rod Coalition, Inc., the Old Town Motorama, event producers, show managers, show judges, show personnel, vendors, sponsors, B.O.O.T., the City of Clovis, committees, agents, employees, and volunteers (collectively, “Released Parties”) are not responsible for any theft, loss, damage, injury, or other incident involving your vehicle, trailer, display items, or personal belongings, regardless of cause.
You agree to obtain your own insurance coverage for your vehicle(s), trailer, display, and all personal or commercial items brought to the event. You accept full responsibility for any damage or loss that may occur, whether caused by yourself, others, or by conditions at the event site.
In consideration for being permitted to participate in the Old Town Motorama, the undersigned participant, on behalf of themselves and their guests (including family, friends, and any related parties), agrees to fully release, waive, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims for known or unknown damages, injuries, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from or related to participation in this event, including but not limited to those arising from the ordinary negligence of the Released Parties.
This release does not apply to claims resulting from gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Photo & Media Release
By participating in the event, you grant Hot Rod Coalition, Inc. permission to use photographs and video/audio recordings taken during the event for promotional, commercial, and marketing purposes without compensation or further notice.
Event Conditions & Force Majeure
This event is scheduled to proceed regardless of weather or other unforeseen conditions. In the rare event of cancellation due to government mandates, public safety issues, natural disaster, or other force majeure events beyond the control of the organizers, no refunds will be issued. By registering, you accept this condition as part of your participation.
Jurisdiction & Severability
This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California. If any part of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
By checking “I AGREE,” you confirm that you have read, understand, and voluntarily accept the terms of this Release of Liability Waiver, including the event rules and regulations.
