  • BIPOC COMMITTEE FUNDING APPLICATION

  • What is the fund's mandate?

To support BIPOC-led events, projects, and initiatives that align with the CSU Positions Book and give back.

    Who can apply?

The fund is also open to all BIPOC individuals—Concordia students, staff, faculty, and external community members. However, Concordia-based initiatives are prioritized.

What expenses can/can't you apply for?

The fund does not cover alcohol, cannabis, water bottles or disposable cutlery/plates/cups or any expenses/initiatives which go against Postitions held by the CSU.

How much can you apply for?

Projects may be awarded up to $1000. Funding is generally provided in the form of expense reimbursements; original receipts are required for all requisitioned expenditures.

    Additional guidelines:

    • The Project Budget must include all projected expenses, the total cost of the project, any expected revenues, as well as other funding sources you have applied to and the status of those applications (if applicable).

    Application deadline:

Second Wednesday of each month at 11:59pm. Applications should be submitted as far in advance as possible. The BIPOC Committee meets approximately once per month.

You will be notified by email following the Committee's decision. Please be sure to check your email (and spam folder) regularly.

Incomplete applications will not be considered. For questions, or to schedule a meeting about a project proposal, please email bipoc@csu.qc.ca.
