This award recognizes a Latina/o or Latino Politics (pre-tenure) scholar based upon their research accomplishments and contributions to the discipline.
Nominees will be evaluated on the following criteria: an established publication record and continuing research activity, leadership in the profession, and additional evidence of impact.
Nomination requirements include:
- A letter addressing the qualifications of the candidate
- The nominee’s current curriculum vitae
- A brief research statement
- An example of published work
The President of the Midwest Women’s Caucus will serve as the chair of the awards committee.
