I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT BY SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT, I AM RELEASING THE KENAKI KARATE ASSOCIATION, LLC, TEAM KENAKI, AS WELL AS THEIR RESPECTIVE AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, MEMBERS, SPONSORS, PROMOTERS AND AFFILIATES (COLLECTIVELY "RELEASEES") FROM LIABILITY. THIS ENTRY BLANK AND RELEASE IS A CONTRACT WITH LEGAL CONSEQUENCES. I HAVE BEEN ADVISED TO READ IT CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING. I acknowledge that Martial Arts is an inherently dangerous sport and fully realize the dangers of studying, practicing, and competing in the Martial Arts and do fully assume the risks associated with such participation including, by the way of example, and not limited to: the dangers associated with the workout, the workout facility, collision with other persons, twisting of ankles and wrists, trip and fall hazards, bumps, bruises, and lacerations arising from surface hazards, equipment failure, inadequate safety equipment, other persons, the Releasee's own negligence, and the possibility of serious physical andlor mental trauma or injury associated with athletic competition and participation in Martial Arts. For myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, assignees, and successors in interest (collectively "successors"), I hereby waive, release, discharge, hold harmless, and promise to indemnify and not to sue the Releasees, of the sponsors of various activities, the organizer and any promoting organizations, property owners, law enforcement agencies, all public entities, special districts and properties, and their respective agents, officials, and employees through or by which all events will be sponsored or held. The foregoing is also collectively deemed to be Releasees. I, also, hereby waive, release, discharge all claims, past or future (including claims arising from the Releasees own negligence), which have or which may hereafter accrue, also including any and all damages which may be sustained by me directly or indirectly in connection with, or arising out of my participation in or association with any event or travel to and from all events. I agree that it is my sole responsibility to be familiar with all related workout and competitive facilities, the Releasee's rules and any special regulations for all events. I understand and agree that situations may arise during participation, which may be beyond the immediate control of the Releasees or organizers, and I must continually participate so as to neither endanger others nor myself. I accept responsibility for the condition and adequacy of my safety equipment and Martial Arts weapons. I assume all responsibility and liability for the - selection and maintenance of such equipment and Martial Arts weapons. I have no physical or medical condition, which, to my knowledge, would endanger others or myself due to my participation in all events.
