ANNIE JR. AUDITIONS

SPECIAL AUDITION DETAILS: 

This audition will take place on Saturday October 11th. If you are unable to audition on that date, we will accept video audition submissions until noon on October 11th. 

Students should prepare BOTH a 30 second to one minute monologue, and a one minute cut of music. Please have your child bring a device to play audio or send us a link to a kareoke track before their audition. There will be no live piano accompaniment at the auditions, and the actors will ned to have a backing track with no vocals.

CALLBACKS will be on Sunday October 12th. Callbacks allow us the opportunity to see some of the actors read scenes together, and in some cases do short dance combinations. NOT ALL STUDENTS WILL BE CALLED BACK, but ALL students who register for this production will be able to participate!

Rehearsal and Performance Dates and Details:

 

REHEARSALS:

Rehearsals will begin at Thunder River Theatre in the classroom. 

FIRST READ THROUGH: Thursday, October 16th, 4:00 to 6:00

MUSIC REHEARSAL: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18th, 9:00 to 3:00 - the cast will not be called all day for this rehearsal, it will be scheduled base on availablility.

Rehearsals will be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays starting Monday October 20th, from 4:00 to 6:00, until the week of December 1st when we will move to a nightly rehearsal schedule. There is no rehearsal the week of Thanksgiving. 

PLEASE NOTE: Weekly rehearsals are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4:00-6:00 after the first week, but we may add additional rehearsal times if need be.

TECH REHEARSALS: ALL TECH REHEARSALS ARE MANDATORY

Sunday December 7th from 12:00 to 8:00 - Cue to Cue; Dinner and snacks will be provided.

Monday December 8th - Wednesday December 10th from 4:00 to 8:00 - Tech and Dress Rehearsals

 

PERFORMANCES: 

Thursday December 11th at 6:00 pm (call time 4:30 pm)

Friday December 12th at 6:00 pm (call time 4:30 pm)

Saturday December 13th at 2:00 pm (call time 12:30 pm)

(Dinner provided between shows for cast members who would like to stay)

Saturday December 13th at 6:00 pm (call time 4:30 pm)

Sunday December 14th at 2:00 pm (call time 12:30 pm)

SOL THEATRE COMPANY WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

 

I, the undersigned participant, am requesting my child’s participation in the SoL Theatre Company's Production of Annie Jr.

In consideration of my child's participation in the production, I hereby waive all claims or causes of action against SoL Theatre Company, its auxiliary organizations, and the officers, directors, employees and agents of all of them, all of which are collectively hereinafter referred to as the "Company” arising out of participation in the camp and hereby release, hold harmless, and discharge the Company from all liability in connection therewith.

Knowing, understanding, and fully appreciating all possible risks, I hereby expressly,voluntarily, and willingly assume all risks and dangers associated with my child's participation in this production. Some of the risks and dangers are listed below. I understand this list is not exhaustive.

Common risks include: Travel to and from home and rehearsal & performance
location, food poisoning, theft, car accident, pedestrian accident, slips, trips and falls, glass or other sharp objects on floor, electrical hazards, other equipment hazards, noise, light (brightness/strobe), fire, harmful substances and contagious illnesses. In addition, I agree to use my personal medical insurance as a primary medical coverage payment if accident or injury occurs.

 

I also consent to having my students image used in promotional and fundraising materials for Sol Theatre Company. I will inform management at Sol if this consent changes for any reason.

 

I have read this waiver and release and understand the terms used in it and their
legal significance. This waiver and release is freely and voluntarily given with the
understanding that right to legal recourse against the Company is knowingly given
up in return for allowing my participation in the camp. My digital signature on this
form is intended to bind not only myself but also my successors, heirs,
representatives, administrators, and assigns.
