The winner of the NUCA National Outstanding Contribution by a Chapter President award receives two complimentary registrations to all 2026 NUCA National events. Travel and incidentals are not included. 

Award Description:
This award recognizes a NUCA Chapter President who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, organizational excellence, and knowledge of the utility construction industry throughout their leadership role. Recipients are further distinguished by their active support of the chapter and NUCA as a national organization, working to promote its programs, represent its values, and expand its network on behalf of members nationwide. Through their commitment and contributions, awardees serve as role models for the next generation of leaders in utility construction.

Awards are designed to celebrate chapter and member successes, highlight best practices, and inspire innovation across NUCA. The winner will be recognized during the Awards Dinner at NUCA National Convention in Miramar Beach, FL from March 9-12.

Guidelines
The nominee must have been a chapter president/chairman for the entire year during 2025 and employed by a NUCA member in good standing. All submissions MUST be received by December 15, 2025, late submissions will not be considered.

Judging
Entries will be reviewed by an anonymous panel ensuring a fair and impartial process. Submissions are judged on chapter and national contributions, impact to the industry, and support of NUCA’s mission, and their ability to lead and demonstrate best practices for others.

Winner Notification Information
Winners will be notified via email by January 10, 2026. Award acceptance and recognition will take place during the Awards Gala at the National Convention in Tucson, AZ on February 12, 2026. Questions on submitting an application? Contact Catie Amsden, catie@nuca.com.
