Clone of 2025 NUCA Chapter Government & Legislative Affairs Activities

NUCA national will donate $1,500 to the charity of choice on behalf of the winner of the William H. Clausen Award for Community Service.

The William H. Clausen Community Service Award recognizes an individual, chapter, or company in the utility construction industry that has made a significant impact through outstanding service to their community.

Honorees demonstrate a strong commitment to civic responsibility by giving time, talent, and resources to improve the quality of life in their communities. This award celebrates the spirit of service that goes beyond the jobsite—showcasing how NUCA members strengthen not only the industry, but also the communities where they live and work

Awards are designed to celebrate chapter and member successes, highlight best practices, and inspire innovation across NUCA. Category winner will be recognized during the Awards Dinner, Thursday, February 12 in Tucson, AZ.

Guidelines
The community service or project must have taken place between January 1, 2025, and December 25, 2025, and by a member, member company, or chapter in good standing to be eligible. All submissions MUST be received by December 31, 2025, late submissions will not be considered.

Judging
Entries will be reviewed by an anonymous panel ensuring a fair and impartial process. Submissions are judged on impact, innovation, alignment with NUCA’s mission, and their ability to serve as best practices for others.

Winner Notification Information
Winners will be notified via email by January 10, 2026. Award acceptance and recognition will take place during the Awards Gala at the National Convention in Tucson, AZ on February 12, 2026. Questions on submitting an application? Contact Catie Amsden, catie@nuca.com.
