Eligibility Standards & Candidate Acknowledgment
Thank you for your interest in serving as an Officer or Board Member of the California Association of Black Real Estate Professionals (CABREP).

All candidates must meet the CABREP Board and Officer Eligibility Standards in order to be considered for nomination. These standards ensure our leadership reflects integrity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to CABREP’s mission of advancing diversity and excellence in real estate.

CABREP Board of Directors Eligibility
To be eligible to serve as a candidate for the Board of Directors, an individual must:

✅ Be a resident of the State of California
✅ Be a currently paid CABREP member for the previous two (2) consecutive years
✅ Hold a valid California real estate license
✅ Be a REALTOR® member in good standing with their local Association of REALTORS®
✅ Be a member in good standing with the California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.)

CABREP Board Officer Eligibility
To be eligible to serve as a Board Officer (President/Chair, President-Elect, Secretary, Treasurer), an individual must:

✅ Meet all Board of Directors eligibility criteria listed above
✅ Have been an active CABREP member, attending at least 75% of CABREP meetings in both the current and preceding calendar year
