Town of Dumfries Youth Advisory Committee

The Town of Dumfries Youth Advisory Committee is composed of high school students and adults. The Youth Advisory Committee is an opportunity for the youth to have a formal role in the town's planning and decision-making process along with the support of adult volunteers.

Youth Volunteer Requirements
• Applicants must live within the jurisdiction of Prince William County; preference will be given to applicants who reside within the Town of Dumfries.
• Applicants must be between Grades 8-12.
• Applicants will serve a one-year term, with the option of renewing for another year.
•· Applicants must be able to attend at least one meeting per month.
• Two letters of recommendation are required.
